As many of you know, this last year has come with many challenges. Inflation has driven up the cost of our operational expenses by as much as 400% in some cases. This has most definitely put a new level of financial strain on BGCH.
Our Board and staff have poured over the budget and its details to determine the extent of the immediate and pressing need. In order to account for inflation and unforeseen additional expenses that were acquired during this past school year, we have become aware that the need would be $60,000.
The exciting news is that because of the generosity of a couple of our long-time supporters, we are already HALFWAY THERE! These families have put a matching gift in place agreeing to match dollar for dollar every gift given up to $30,000. We are beyond thankful for this generous offer and are so excited to see how we can all come together to make this happen. Our deadline is June 15th in order to have time to provide what is needed for the next school year.
